Terri has over 30 years of experience serving in various capacities within the church, from Sunday School Teacher to Evangelist to Co-pastor with her husband. Throughout her life, she has served on numerous non-profit and church boards, addressing issues related to governing daily operations, strategic planning, budgeting, facility expansion, and program development. She retired as Executive Director for Helps Community Initiatives, Inc. (HCI), a non-profit Community Development Corporation in Palm Bay, FL, and now serves as CEO of Genesis of Good Samaritans, a non-profit located in Columbus, OH.
Terri has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and Christian Counseling. With her training in computer operations and information systems from the USAF, she later worked as a Data Analyst for Lockheed/Martin, launching Titan IV missiles from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, and as a Certified IT Project Manager for the State of Ohio. She is now a licensed agent and Financial Services Professional with World Financial Group.
Terri is a coal miner’s granddaughter and was born and raised in Vivian, West Virginia, and now resides in Palm Bay, FL. She has been happily married for 41 years to Reverend Leroy Smith, who is also a WFG Agent. Together they have six children and nine grandchildren. She has a love for Christ, a passion to serve, and a purpose to fulfill.
