After nearly 39 years of service in the U.S. military and over 37 years as a critical care nurse, I’ve dedicated my life to helping others through some of their toughest moments. Originally from Mississippi and now living in Texas with my beautiful wife, I’ve had the privilege of calling many places home throughout my career.
When I retired from the military, I knew I still had more to give—but I wanted to help people in a new way. After experiencing the sudden loss of a loved one, I saw firsthand how essential financial literacy is, especially as we age.
