My career began in tech & business management—climbing the ladder, working long hours, giving my best. I grew tired of working hard building other people’s visions, with little control over my time or earning potential.
My desire for freedom led me to entrepreneurship and I opened a salon & spa. I didn’t have industry experience, but I did have a passion for helping people look & feel their best. I fell in love with the industry, & the talented, creative individuals who brought it to life. However, like many entrepreneurs, I often felt chained to the dream. Upon my husband receiving a work opportunity in New Zealand, we sold the business & moved.
In Aotearoa, I remained connected to “hair world”. I worked in sales/business development for hair care companies. I enjoyed educating salon professionals about the business side of their artistry. While I loved being of service, I was, again, frustrated with working long hours & weekends, that cost me valuable time with my young son.
Upon our return to the US I decided to reassess my next career move. During this time, I was helping young people in my life with their finances. I was shocked that nothing had changed, since I went to school. People, including those with degrees in finance, were not educated about money.
Fueled by a new mission, I became a licensed financial professional. Today, I help individuals, families, & entrepreneurs understand how to build wealth, protect it, & use it to create freedom—personally & within their communities. When people are resourced, they make choices based on possibility, not limitation. GAME CHANGER!
